On August 30th, 2017 Anouk presented the preliminary results of our research on cultural and creative industries in peripheral areas. This is a pre-study for the Mapping Maastricht report which will be presented in March 2018.
The conference was organised by and hosted at the Royal Geographical Society and the session Anouk presented in was called ‘Trending Now: The changing geographies of fashion in the digital age”. The rest of the programme was very diverse, varying from streetstyle to the sustainable fashion efforts in a town in Australia.
