Made2Measure is a research project at Maastricht University, commissioned by the municipality of Maastricht. In March 2013, the municipality started the programme ‘Made in Maastricht’. Part of this programme is to support and stimulate Maastricht’s creative industries. The creative industry policy has been divided into four programmes; manufacturing, performing arts, film and media and fashion. Made2Measure is part of the Fashion Maastricht programme. Its goal is to investigate the impact of these stimulation policies on financial and economical aspects within the city. To this extent, we execute various exiting research projects concerning employment, business climate, students and spending patterns of Maastricht’s inhabitants and visitors.
